why do bloods keep crashing

I need some help with this one why do my bloods rise from 5.6 this morning and keep going up all day to 29.2 and then crash to now being 4.9 and still dropping till some time during the night I will hypo. this is happening every 4-5 days. ?? had nothing this morning as I felt sick (not a morning eater) for lunch 40g carbs insulin 24 rapid 2 hours later bloods 11.6 tea chicken salad ( chicken, toms, etc ) no carbs took 10 units of rapid to try bring bs down now at 29.9 will crash during the night don't understand why.

Crikey, think you really need some help from your diabetic team. 24 units is alot of insulin for 40 carbs. just noticed you are type 2 with insulin resistance also? Do you also take oral meds? Don't like to ask but are you overweight.

I am on 6 units of insulin for 10 gram of carbs and no well may be could do with getting a pound or 2 off

ok as expected hypo 3.30 this morning 1.7 (2dis and a cup of tea) back to bed got up at 7.00 am bloods 5.6 nothing to eat this morning bloods now at 7.3

I think you need to eat... don't go without food
