I take Levemir once daily knowing that it doesn't last 24 hours. I have my daily dose when I go to bed around 11pm. My dose is typically 12 units with a 63Kg weight. This means my peak is around breakfast time. As my breakfast carbs are quite low I don't need to inject any Bolus then. After measuring I can drive more safely as I haven't had a Bolus and the Basal is running down. In the evening when my Basal has run out I can compensate by having an appropriate Bolus ratio at dinner. The bottom line is that I save one injection per day. This won't suit everyone but it's worth considering?</p></blockquote><p></p>
