Are you type 2. Its not unusual for blood sugar to increase after a workout, it happens. What about the ingredients of the protein drink. I find that fake sugars can send my bg whappy. There could be lots of factors, illness, lack of sleep, stress or just the work out itself something different you have done, loads of reasons. I am sure others here will give their input
Hi @GSS! .. despite the connection to diabetes, blood glucose control isn't all about food, and the further you are from being diabetic, the less it has to do with food, and the more it has to do with your liver providing energy for your body to get ready for the day, fight an infection, or go to the gym.
