I watch carbs very little. I mostly eat what I like. Late today I ate a burger and onion rings and 2 or 3 hours later my b.s. Was 111 . So how is it possible my b.s. is not high?

111.... ok, so that's 6.2 in the UK

It's a bit hard to answer. You're not sure how long after eating that you tested, so at the 3 hr mark you just don't know how high it got before that test. And I think that's the real question, how high does it go when you eat like that? Your spike may be at about the 1 hr post meal mark. Try testing then and see what you get, maybe again at the 2hr mark if you want to see the impact of specific foods on your levels.
