Why, oh why is it that.......

......when I open a packet of pills, I always seem to pick the end of the packet that has the directions leaflet (which I know by heart) wrapped around the blister pack and I then have to pull the **** thing out before I can get at the pills? Doesn't matter what kind of pills, p¥sses me off proper it does........

murphy's law, just another demonstration.

It's doors for me, where there's two doors, I always pick the non-opening one and look like an idiot faffing around to get the bloody thing open eventually

Yes I do that all the time you would think by the law of averages we would open the right end sometimes but we never do lol lol
 
Me too! Am always trying to find a way of identifying the end that doesn't have the info slip round it, lol
 
I've found you can't beat the system!...With pill boxes anyway!
 
It's a bit like when you finish washing up and you empty the bowl and there's always a teaspoon falls out, one of life's mystery's
 
You are not alone. I thought it was just me being a bit OCD (no offense intended to true sufferers). I have a cunning plan though. I get 2 boxes of all my various pills and potions each time and then empty each pair out, chuck the leaflets and force all into one box. Voila. Don't have to worry anymore

Hahaha!! This made me chuckle. I take 9 different types of pill every day and I regularly do exactly the same as you.
 
Must be common problem here. I follow this habit. There are only 2 ends of a pill carton. One end usually has plain panel often with expiry date on it and is the end which has the fold of the leaflet. Meanwhile the opposite end is more colourful and has the brand and product name and the same colour as the rest of the carton. If you always open this end only you will always be opening it at them correct end. Hope this ends your frustration as it has mine.

Oops sorry but I have several boxes which I open daily and they all follow this pattern so maybe someone has
sabautaged yours lol. It works on Tramadol Paracetamol Cefalexin Metformin Chlorphenamine Januvia Fultium vitD Omeprazole Naproxen Senna the list is endless for which this system works. You can be sure there will always be one that does not conform with the norm.

I remove the blister pack as I find it easier and remember to take any medications.
 
Have been testing with my med packs and have found that by holding pack with drug name reading left to right ( not pharmacists label) and opening pack on the left hand side there is NO slip! Well, it's 100% correct on mine
