OK just retested, 40 minutes after 9.4 it is now 8.
Blueberries, 1 dessert spoon (plus a big juicy one). Checked the cream, it is double, nothing appears to have been added.
Possibly overdoing the blueberries? I used 2 dessert spoons of cream.
Earlier on I had another 9 reading. I had a starbucks esspresso with cream ( have ordered some decaf to take its place). BUT I also had 80mg of propranalol around the same time. I read somewhere that propranalol can raise BG. Will be raising this with my GP.

I have had the omlette before with no noticable spikes, but I am just starting out, there are so many things that can affect it.
I have tried to find the carbs in the expresso, someone sent me the info from the starbucks site, I couldn't see House Blend that we buy from the supermarket. and there is nothing on the packet.
When I was put on propranolol for polymyalgia it caused my bs to go through the roof. I went from well controlled using just metformin to being on the highest dose of insulin twice a day and even that wasn't enough. I only got reasonable control when I added a once a week injection of dulaglutide. DebOK just retested, 40 minutes after 9.4 it is now 8.

Even the standard pouting cream has added sugar for taste, improve the thickness, make it float, and extend the life.

@DCUKMod, I have high blood pressure and I take 5mg amlodipine. The propranolol was given for unusual form of migraine. I had two attacks one lasted 16 days, the other 18 days. The migraine was probably caused by the diabetes, the propranolol is probably helping with the blood pressure.
I have started a new pot of strips. When I first got my meter I tested it to find that different fingers would give different readings!
