Hi I have type 2 diabetes, I take metformin, I have recently had my annual check-up and my results are a little higher than the doctor would like, the diabetic nurse told me about a new drug forxiga, I asked my doctor about them and he said that they are not out yet, and gave me something else, well this new med is not working for me, it makes my really hungry, well I have been back to the doctors this morning saw a different doctor, I asked him about the forxiga, and said I needed to call for the prescription later today, I feel I'm being fobbed off, what's going on, is this drug expensive so the doctor is trying to cut his budget?
