Handyníall said:Well we were already in pretty good shape from running half-marathons. But right now, every 3rd week I run a marathon on the Saturday. Although it's taking it's toll on my trainers.
I run 1 1/2 hours every other day, and in between those days I'm running 1 hour but at a quicker pace.
I'm going to gradually build my carbs up until the marathon, so that when I have a heavy in carb meal the day before the race, my body isn't going to panic.
And Sunday is always a rest day... I can never bring myself to do anything on a Sunday...
