Probably not a great surprise but Wikipedia appears to be wrong.
It states 9g carbs per 100g. According to other sources I use - Carbs and cals, my fitness etc. they are 1-2 g per 100g
Posting this jus tin case anyone relies on Wikipedia.

Those links are not from Uk sites, so they are showing total carbs, including fibre. If you deduct the fibre from the carbs you’ll get the UK equivalent. Google is not always your friend!
Use a UK supermarket site. They are more reliable than MyFitnessPal, Google or Wikipedia. They are not perfect (check out almonds) but at least they have a consistent perspective that fibre is excluded from total carb count unlike in the USA and some other places.
The USDA nutrient data site is the only site I trust, because they do their own analysis. https://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/foods/...c&qlookup=Avocado&ds=&qt=&qp=&qa=&qn=&q=&ing=
according to them Avocadoes have the following nutrient values
Per 100 Grams of Avocadoes
Carbohydrate by difference 8.3grams
Protein 2 grams
Fibre total dietary 6.7grams
Lipid 14.66 grams
Sugars 0.66
