What i mean is when i was first diagnosed and had a h1ac of 147 - when i started testing it was not often that my morning sugars were below 7 and now they always are and oftern below 6 also mt post meals results are down.
this is due to taking metformin and to reducing (a lot) carbs. However i wonder if there is any kind of virtuous circle kind of affect - where you continue to take the same dose of metformin and eat the same diet but your levels continue to drop. has anyone observed this or is there any studies that show this?
I ask because it feels like i am eating the same as a month ago taking the same dose of metforin (exercising more becuase i am less tired as my blood recovers) but i now get the odd pre meal blood of less than 5 or a morning of 5.1 which didnt happen a month ago.
i hope that question makes sense
Cheers
