soaps on telly and people talking about the characters as if they were real.
I did my water exercise class today and in the cafeteria afterward, I resisted the offer of half a choc chip cookie ( one of those BIG ones) and made do with a coffee.( I was called a show off and reminded that there are no calories in food you didn't pay for. I suggested there might be carbs)
I put the computer on ater I got home and had eaten the contents of little tin of mackerel fillets( lunch) I then received Aldi's alert on this week's specials. I rushed down the hill (in the car, cos it's raining) and bought myself a cashmere sweater for my Christmas present. further down the emails was one from the local freecycle. I've got that exercise bike. I want it primarily for T1 husband, He of the 2 Charcot feet, who is gaining weight and gets no exercise. Not even to the corner shop Tubs!
Thing is my study is a wreck and at the moment youngest dog and younger cat are playing together in the boxes I've set up for putting away a load of knitting wool and lengths of fabric. which I will make something out of sometime. I don't think I trust younger cat not to mistake a box for a litter tray. He's a dizzy redhead( with stripes)
Question is, will I be able to make enough space in the study to put the Ex bike in, when Son-in-law collects it in his van tomorrow morning?
Game over! Dog lying on rug by radiator and cat on desk bside keyboard, patting wires. Location of all/any other animals unknown, but in house, because all doors closed. It's still raining

I don't know the answer to your question but do have another. Will said exercise bike be used if hidden away in the study? Seriously I use my exercise equipment because It sits and looks at me :D I move it before visitors, though it stays there for friends.

There definitely isn't room in the living room and old blind doggy would be in grave danger

I've never understood the need for those indoor bikes when you can have much more fun on one that travels along outside.

I know it's dark and miserable at this time of year but I'd much prefer to be enjoying the more varied challenges of the real outside - but of course anything that will encourage a reluctant exerciser can only be good.

I feel the same. I have a dirt jump bike. I love that bike. It is so black and shiny and new and... actually it's 2 years old but I don't use it. Why? The other half thinks I am a liability on the roads and won't "let" me.
