Passed my family a batch of new insulin and needles without giving proper instructions and they left the insulin plus the novo needles in the fridge.
Now wondering if the needles will rust when I take them out, eg when Travelling when I need a few days of supply.

Hi @tinyfilosofer . Very interesting question. As far as I'm aware needles are stainless steel which theoretically means they shouldn't rust.
If you were to open one, use it and replace it back in the fridge then that may cause some issues but still not sure they would go rusty.
Interesting if anyone else can offer more information.

As it happens, I always kept the open box of BD Microfine that I was using at the time in the fridge so that I knew which box was the current one.

None of them rusted.
