I went to the doctor at the end of last year because I was so completely exhausted. What I noticed most was that I was walking more and more slowly. I used to stride out enthusiastically, but very gradually so I hardly noticed, I'd slowed to an ancient creep rather than a walk at all, and I was avoiding any demanding walks and had been doing without really registering, for months and months.
I was diagnosed with prediabetes and have been following LCHF since. My energy levels have steadily increased and today I walked up the very steep and long hill to where I live for the first time in at least a year. It IS a big hill, and it takes my fit and much younger than me neighbour about 20 minutes to get up it, so I m delighted to say that at nine years his senior, and immeasurably fatter than him, I achieved 30 minutes today. Very pleased with my first attempt.
