soaps on telly and people talking about the characters as if they were real.
I've had an absolutely franic day today. I went to water exercises this morning on a small piece of cheese.Rushed home and had a slice or two of cold meat and 3 baby plum tomatoes and 1 Metformin 500 for lunch, packed 3 bin bags of "too big: undergrown" clothes up for a Freecycler to collect. Zoomed off to a local primary school to do an afternoon's work. The class teacher hadn't left anything for 28 7 year olds to do, so I mainly told stories and got them to write a little story each. Went to the supermarket and bought supplies for the barbecue we're hoping to have on Saturday. Stopped off on the way home to pick up paint for the kitchen. Got home, where my neighbour helped me unload all the bags and carry them in. Started to put shopping into fridge and felt awful. My son-in-law was here and did the rest of the unpacking and putting away. I didn't go upstairs for my BG meter. I didn't trust myself on the stairs. After a cup of tea and a glucose tab, I feel a bit better. I know that was my own fault. I should have found time to eat a proper meal,mid-day, but my days still only have 24 inelastic hours in them and sometimes, they crash.

So did you test after you had recovered, what was it? I came home from work on Wednesday morning after the night shift from Hell! Hardly had time to pee let alone eat and tested at 4.9 .I know that's hardy hypo time but I felt distinctly shaky. So cured it with OJ and weetabix.

Didn't test until this morning, by which time I'd had a proper dinner. Was back to normal this morning at 5.6. I can't get those morning ones down into the 4s where I'd like to be AND I'm rationed on strips. I'm keeping off the Starlix, so the weight keeps going down. I've given away 3 black bags of "too big" clothes. and have started to add some smaller ones to the wardrobe. I feel absolutely fine now. Son-in-law, who is an absolute sweetheart, told daughter when he got home that he'd been a bit worried and she rang to check up on me. I was feeling ok by then. Daughter thinks I don't eat enough anyway. She's a primary school teacher and can't you just tell by the bossiness.
