Working with prone to foot ulcers and vascular descese

Hi is it possible to go back to work after my ulcer has healed after a year getting it healed, I am so Anxious that it will breakdown again and I will be back in the hospital getting treated. I am 61 male type1 dieabitic diagnosis with vascular descese. Garry
