Hello all,
This is my first week using a FreeStyle Libre 2. It's great seeing when my blood glucose is spiking without having to fingerprick all the time! I am puzzled and a bit worried though. I'm a creature of habit. Every morning, I get up around 0630, do Wordle, go for a 5k run and then browse the internet until 0800 when I have breakfast. The sensor says that my blood glucose hits 13 mmo/l every morning between 0730 and 0800 and then it falls like a stone once I start eating.
I think this blood glucose spike is likely caused by a combination of dawn rise and the 5k run. Is it dangerous though?
Thanks in advance.
PS - please ignore the overnight hypo readings. I've googled it and it seems that if you roll onto the sensor during sleep, the readings are off. I don't have any of the symptoms that suggest nocturnal hypoglycemia is a problem.
