the green area is the level normal blood glucose is in in average
View attachment 24302 it is in higher end of normal... they can´t give you a diagnosis if you are not in the area of a diagnosis.... but you yourself can do a lot not to become full-blown diabetic by taking the total control of how many carbs you are eating daily, and by exercising more .. or only going for much longer walks ...
when it comes to diabetes you are statistically in a higher risk zone... but all you can do is to do your best... and keep up optimism... even we who have the diagnosis get a better life if we don´t let us sink down in deep depression because of this unwanted curse
if you haven´t taken the low carb course here in this forum , then try taking it or read the many links to lower carb eating style and fabulous recipies of low carb foods...
maybe also ask to have your thyroid function measured (considering your heart racing )
well, a glucose tolerance test is actually taking a load on one's system ... I don´t think a glucose tolerance test is healthy in any way... and knowing you already have had gestational diabetes ... then you know you might be vulnerable ...
a HbAc1 is an okay view of where one lies I think...
Do you still have your glucose meter from pregnancy? Can you test your levels?
Pity, it would have given you an idea of what your levels are doing. No I don’t unfortunately.

See your doc and talk through the symptoms and if you get no joy perhaps get a meter and test. It could help set your mind at rest or flag an issue early.
It might help if you could obtain a meter and test strips for yourself - there are some which can be got mail order and not expensive - If your doctor did give you one it might have really expensive strips which would perhaps put you off testing.
When you have symptoms you could test, or before and after a few meals, just to see what is going on now.
The Hba1c testing is an average over several months, if your symptoms are happening now you need to see what your blood glucose is at that moment - it might at least reassure you, or perhaps give you something to show the doctor.
