Worried and feel frightened

I live alone and my family dont live in my county, and dont have close friends. I need to have my eye screening done at the hospital. Ive made 3 appointments and ended up canceling them. I have a big fear of going to hospitals alone. Is there a website where I can get someone to take me there like a care assistant? please help
 
I gather from your profile that you live near Derby, UK. In my own village (nowhere near Derby) the local community, centred around the church, helps in these circumstances. Try asking the local vicar/priest/minister, someone might be found to help you.

My hospital is also nowhere near Derby.

However, they have volunteer "friends" which your hospital may also have?? Try enquiring. A volunteer could meet you at your hospital & offer support..?
 
Yes, my hospital has the same sort of system, and I'm also nowhere near Derby. Perhaps ring your GP or the hospital to see what they have.
