can anyone tell me if they get a leg rash and a swollen ankle on same leg. and should i worry about it, i hate doing to the doctors

hi Jo,
Welcome to the forums, are you on any other medication ?
I get an Asprin rash
I think on this occasion you really should get your doctor to take a look ..

Strange, I've been T1 (officially) for 3 months and developed something like this after the first 2 weeks. With a heightened awareness of potential foot problems I went to the docs and was put on a course of antibiotics. They didn't really know what it was but the AB's sorted it out and the swelling went away by the time I'd finished the course. Although front right shin feels tender a lot of the time.
Definitely go to the quack though, don't let it get worse.

thank you for your reply, i will go to docs as soon as i can

I have had a scare from a rash which has recently been diagnosed as Pityriasis Rosea. What I learned from this is if you have an unexplained rash get in and get it properly diagnosed. The only reliable one to do this is a Dermatoligist (preferably one experienced in diabetic complications). Hope you get it cleared soon.
