My surgery recently appointed a young doctor to handle all diabetes sufferers and he has drastically reduced my blood sugar levels simply by prescribing Actos 30mg Pioglitazone tablets. My levels used to be quite high at 17 but now are down to single figures. I am taking just one tablet a day and according to the doctor will soon be able to dispense with taking Metformin. Have a word with your GP and who knows perhaps you too might benefit from trying these pills. (Bye the way I don't suffer any side effects)

Cheers John. I see the practice nurse in a couple of weeks, so I'll make a note of these tablets and ask her about them. :-)
