Hi there,
I was experiencing flu symptoms/some diabetes symptoms and therefore had my HbA1c and random glucose tested. My A1c was 33 and my random glucose 3.8. I know HbA1c is based on average of the month but I was just wondering if not eating for a few days could have affected this. These flu symptoms meant that for about 4/5 days I barely ate and I also threw up once before then getting tested. Would this have lowered my HbA1c or would this have made no difference if I were diabetic?
Thankyou
