Wrong insulin

I have given my daughter 3 units of novarapid instead of levemir, I have made sure she has had something to eat and now given her the levemir, is this right? Will she be ok? Worried mum

If you've given her enough carbs to cover the 3u or NovoRapid, it should be OK.

Keep an eye on BGs for 4 hours, after which time the Novorapid should have finished working.
 
The only thing she would need to do is to eat something as the rapid one will act on the blood glucose level quickly This should be enough to keep her glucose level stable. She should also take her slow acting insulin as well.
