Hi everyone,
I just started on the dexcom G5 last week, on Wednesday. Everything seemed to be going fine and I got Xdrip to work to get notifications to my Miband4 as well.
One time I had an issue when I slept on the sensor and it suddenly showed really high values despite me not eating anything beforehand, and it dropped very quickly back down - I put this down as a one offf issue.
But today is only day 5 and all day the sensor was off several points. It even woke me up at night saying I was low but I wasn't. After I ate some carbs my numbers didn't go up as much as I expected and when I checked with the AccuChek, my actual level was higher.
I tried to calibrate a few times when it was more level, but the sensor still doesn't seem to match up.
Is there a way to restart the sensor? On xdrip it just said stop sensor-but only if you are ready to swap sensors.
I am hesitant to swap it after only day 5, but there is also no point if it is quite inaccurate now.
Any advice?
Thank you ^.^
