My hba1c is now 7.6! My previous one was 14. I've worked to hard to get it down, but I am reaping the benefits! Better sleep, better skin, improved mental health, i am more focused, blood pressure is down, I've even lost a stone and half sticking to this low carb regime that I'd never of thought to try before joining this group. I'm so happy and feel great
Well done - keep it up and you will hopefully achieve non diabetic levels. I've just had my third 5.5% in a row, feeling rather smug about it, all on diet alone although I have put some weight back on, unfortunately.
Thanks - all the advice here helps so much, you helped me a couple of months ago, thank you again! Not sure about the weight gain (10 pounds - eek) but its not an easy time of year to manage that really. I'll see what happens in spring when I can be more active.
