- Diet drinks - the artificial sweeteners taste vile.
Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
Anyone tried Yacon syrup?
Allegedly non-digestible so doesn't turn into glucose, promotes healthy gut bacteria, and also has laxative properties.
So it sounds like a possibility as a sweetener.
Tastes a bit like malt extract or molasses.

Says it is used in Peru (roots) and Brazil (leaves) as an anti-diabetic.
Cheers
