Last night was the first department Christmas dinner since I've managed to fully stabilise my weight (I was still 30 lbs heavier last year, and glucose was not so well control so skipped the event) and had a full year of my improved fitness regime.

Meal: A beer in the bar, follwed by a couple of Margaritas, chicken satay skewers on rice and spicy veggies, rib-eye steak, thick-cut chips, assorted veggies, couple glasses of red wine, large cheeseboard with assorted crackers, digestive bics and oatmeal bics. 4 different cheeses. (plus one Glucobay, chewed up with first bite of meal)

Fasting this morning?

great result Mark! - though I am still trying to get my head round this diabetes thing probably the drinks you had helped your BS - lovely to see you enjoying life like we should all be able too - and not letting this thing restrict you having fun :D

There's absolutely no way I could have done that, but I have 2 Christmas lunches this week to cope with, so I've got my fingers crossed.
