Trying t plain Greek yoghurt with raspberries for breakfast. It was horrible as I, m not normally a yoghurt eater

Are you going to stick with it, might it get nicer? I find yoghurt a great help for my diet - especially agree yoghurt. I wasn't a huge fan of it to start with (it was just ok) but now happily enjoy it plain and really like it.

I'm not a lover of yoghurt either and the ones I like my tester doesn't!! For the past couple of weeks I have tried Weightwatchers Crème freche with a layer of fruit at the bottom. This was the 1st time I had tried Crème freche and must admit it is a lot nicer than yoghurt. My tester also likes them, which is a bonus eg fasting blood today 6.9. @8.20. Approx 90mins after 1 of these pots 6.5.

Sorry I was confused (how unusual) it was Weightwatchers Fromage Frais with berries.

I did buy a pot of Crème freche though.

I will try, though I was starving 3 hours later

Hi ally1 I have Greek Turkish yogurt from Lidl with raspberries and mixed nuts and 1 teaspoon of no sugar syrup [ from Asda]. Sometimes I will sprinkle some oat bran in .

Certainly not everyone likes plain greek yogurt it AlIy it is not something you have to eat. I could never eat it for breakfast so always had it with berries as a dessert after my main meal but I went right off it. I did think of trying it again but freezing it along with the berries in it as a sort of ice cream may be more palatable that way

I love honeydew melon, is that bad for us?

Do you like cinnamon? I add it to my yogurt to add flavour and I add ground flaxseeds to fill me up for hours, typically its 6 hrs between breakfast and lunch so my flaxseed and yogurt needs to be filling

1 cup = 225 grammes. I hope this helps @ally1 . I had a few problems copying the chart but I think it's easy enough to read now. I hope this is of help.

This is not going to help but I love the stuff, Lidl's Greek does it for me, anyway it comes, at the moment nuts and passion fruit till the fresh rasps appear.
@ally1 if you think it might help, work it up a bit at a time with some low carb high protein items that you do like. It is good for padding nuts out, so you don't get a mouthful of nuts!!!
To you

Get your numbers down first @ally1 (back to where they were) and then test the melon. You know the drill by now .... and stick with the yoghurt as you may end up liking it

Have you tried the alprosoya vanilla "yogurt" ? it's lush

It may not matter for all, but for me that would be high carb low fat option.
