@New Haven Neil - Have you tried chia puddings? There are all manner of options. I received a sample of chia seeds with something else (can't remember what, but unimportant), so I tried a variation on this one: http://www.melissahartfiel.com/2017/07/26/single-serve-chocolate-chia-pudding/ Personally, I left out the maple syrup and still found it too sweet (I don't have a sweet tooth), but if you wanted it, there is a sugar-free option I think @Rachox uses for various things, like pancakes, if I recall correctly. For me, I won't commit to eat something I don't like. I'll try anything, and I do have a very open mind to what flavours go where and when in the day. @jjraak - For me, my primary care team is me. Nobody cares about my health more than I do. Of course, my OH is part of it too, as he is our main cook, but I am the one who has to ensure I'm doing as I should. I see my GP as secondary care, and resource (blood test etc) provider. Thankfully, I haven't required specialist care for my diabetes, but for other things, I also see my GP as the signposter to specialist services. My GP (has just moved, so will be referred to in the past tense, unfortunately) freely admits that I usually know far more about my body and what ails me than she does, and was always keen on a collaborative approach. She learned a lot on my AndBreatheLearningLipids Programme. Professor Sikaris and I taught her a lot :) :) :) I'm not particularly looking forward to nominating her successor, but it'll have to happen soon.
