Hi, I've had my ypsomed pump for 1yr and 8mts now, I got it in pregnancy. Since I started using it my skin seems to react really badly with the cannulas. I've tried the soft ones and the steel ones, I've changed them earlier than the recommended 2/3 days, I've used barrier spray, but i itch severely from the second I put them in and when I take them off. Its so bad that I have extensive marking and scarring all over my injection sites. I can't stand it anymore and I dont know if im the only person this is happening to.
Hiya - any other ypsopump users get really bad reactions to the adhesive on the cannulas? i've tried 3 different types and it's still happening. I've let my consultant know and they're gonna see if there are other options, just want to know if it's happened to anyone else! driving me absolutely...

I would suggest talking to your clinic to see what can be done, from using different barrier creams to possibly a different pump???
