I've just been listening to Zoe Harcombe explaining how carbohydrates eaten in excess is the main cause of ill health today. She also advocated a return to the eating of butter and natural fats as a means of providing energy. Just wondered if anyone has tried the Harcombe Diet and whether it is easy to adapt for a diabetic lifestyle? I have put this very simply, she does a much better job of explaining on a video on her webpage.
Hi. Isn't this just the low-carb diet many of us have been posting about for years now? To balance the much lower-carbs, having enough fat and protein to maintain calories, nutrients and making you feel full is aprt of the low-carb diet. Dr Briffa has been talking about this for years and was on JV a year ago also talking about the same diet approach. Good to hear more sense being talked now about carbs and fats.
