Insulin mix ups, sin bin + low libido
Have you ever had a moment when you cannot think whether
or not you took your insulin or tablets? If you have, you’re certainly not alone.
It can be nerve wracking not
knowing whether you’ve taken your dose.
This can be particularly problematic for people on insulin as either missing a dose or taking a double dose could lead to dangerously high or low sugar levels.
Sometimes other mix ups can happen such as accidentally taking short term insulin instead of long term insulin.
Such an overdose can be very dangerous. Read our guide to see what to do if you ever find yourself in this critical situation.
Tablets are arguably even easier to forget. Being normally busy, experiencing a change to your normal routine and getting distracted whilst about to take your tablets are just a few reasons why doses can be missed.
We look at some practical tips to help you reduce your chances of missing a dose.
