    That was my first thought so I did a strip test and it confirmed the reading was correct, think I will go back to my original dose and if it settles down try again a later date, could be a bug I have caught or stress etc that is causing it

    I do test using a Freestyle Libre and a test strip now and again to verify the Libre results, hence why I know my BS levels are up, it may not be down to the reduced metaformin dose and could be something unrelated just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced this when dropping the dosage...

    Thanks @ziggy_w I went low carb, initially less than 100 but more often than not i am less than 50 most days, weight dropped off my first 2 months last month its more slow in coming off

    Makes such a difference having the encouragement from your GP, lucky to have him as he always takes time seeing people which does translate to your appointment is never on time but most people understand this and joke about it when you are waiting 30/40 mins :)
