Hi a quick question about lantus I take 9 unit at 10pm and that's no problem keeps my blood sugar level above 5 in the morning when I wake on Friday for the first time in ages I went out out! I took my lantus at 10:45 (as got a bit distracted with a good band!) but then didn't walk the 1/2 mile...

5.2 on waking, went back to bed for an hour 4.6 Then had breakfast bowl of all- bran and 4 strawberries. 2 units insulin (usual). On a weekday would then test before driving to work within the hour and about 7.5-8 Just about to start some gardening and 3.9!! So now have to treat and wait...
