My control is between 5.5 and 6.5 during the day. However upon heading towards 5.5 I am getting hypo symptoms, repeated checks give my readings at 5.3, 5.4 and 5.5......but remain stable over an hour at these levels. However during this hour if I don't eat I get very shakey, hot flushes etc...

Have mixed info from dvla. I'm certain the medical questionnaire I filled in said I was not allowed to drive under 5.0. However in a leaflet they sent me with the OK for my temporary licence 5.0 is OK as long as I eat. And only below 4.0 am I not allowed to drive. Don't want to be caught...

I have a lancet with settings 1-8 Which way is the smallest pin prick? Was using 4, dropped to 3 thinking it was a less invasive pin but seem to be getting more blood? Not sure if that's in my head or not. I'm all over the place at the main not thinking straight. Can someone help?
