Well this seems to be going on for ages. Why is it so hard to get a definite answer. On a recent trip to the doctors, to get my results, I entered the doctors office and she said "Now shall we say you are diabetic or not" well I thought you are the doctor surely that is your decision. I asked her what my latest test results were and she responded with "your fasting glucose is 6.9 and your ogtt is 10.2 so I think we will say maybe at the moment". That suits me, if only I did not feel so cr*p. Every time I eat a sandwich/wrap or some pasta or rice all my muscles in my arms and legs just don't want to work,it is an effort just to lift my arms to type on my keyboard. All I want to do is lay down. Is this truly a symptom of a slightly elevated blood sugar? I find in the evening that if I have ever tested my urine I have elevated Glucose, Protein and Keytones, and yet I did a sample at the doctors in the morning and all is fine. I just want to stop feeling this way and get a firm diagnosis.
