Does anybody else on here have double vision or ghost images in either eye, I've quit sugar, changed diet, started 5,000 steps regime, but vision doesn't seem to be getting better,

I actually woke up one day very dizzy and with extreme double vision. the dizziness went away after an hour or so but the double vision persisted for a week before it slowly went away.
I had to wear an eye patch for a week which was cool! I had an MRI and the doc said I probably had some inflamation around a nerve in my brain - yikes!
He did tell me it could have been brought on by high blood sugar.
What are your numbers now? Hopefully as your glucose goes down the vision will clear up!

Hi Mountie I would suggest you go to opticians and get a thorough eye test,I use Specsavers who can do a retinophathy scan .
Opticians say they are ok, just had my bloods done awaiting results, I just want to know if the type 2 is getting worse or something happening to my head or it's 1 of them things that happen.
