Have you asked your doctor or diabetes nurse?

I’d go back to diabetic team and ask for advice and a plan around your treatment

I have to agree with what cantinahat has said. You cannot just assume your blood sugar levels will remain normal. Any changes need to be made in consultation with those who are treating you. You need to talk to them.
