Please can anyone explain how the carb figures work on packaging for, example..
After reading about Bergen Soya & Linseed bread, I bought a loaf.
Carbohydrate 11.0g per slice
Of which sugars 1.8g
My question is which figure is the one to look at..total carbs ?
And what is the other 9.2g left after you deduct the 1.8g of sugars
Thanks Steve..

hi honey badger
it is the total carb that is important to us D's.

the other 9.2 will be the flour and seed the bread is made from

What Him said ! :D
So the carb load for one slice is 11g . Ignore the " of which sugars " because this is included in the 11g of total carbs in the UK .
