Hi all.
I have been on Humulin M3 twice a day (pre breakfast and dinner, now on 45 units each time) for months and the Consultant was thinking of changing this regime to 1x background and mealtime rapid Insulins at meals to allow me more flexibility on food/mealtimes and control.
However, yesterday she suggested adding 10 units before lunch to give me a better level between breakfast and dinner.
I've agreed and I'm not one to question her thinking but everywhere I've read up on it I've seen It's a twice daily Insulin.
I know 10 units isn't much.
Anyone else doing this?
