OK so thanks @Guzzler & @woodywhippet61 for your words of advice. My plan is... 1) Get through this week and a half or so away from home and then just be thankful I am at home for a spell of hopeful stability. 2) Call Abbotts first thing on Monday morning and at least get my order in, and if at all possible get their steer on this sensor that is stuck in the doldrums. I have a spare in my suitcase that was due to go on in about 10 days. This will be my earliest failing sensor. 3) Once I have some time at the end of this month, I will start writing proper articles about this journey. If people will indulge me I will drop a linkeroo in here from time to time. In the meantime I am going to look forward to the last tournament of the year with my fellow itinerants who have been nothing but supportive of me since my diagnosis. I am also going to go back to the gym/exercise once I am properly free from 27 Nov and going to through myself into the pursuit of yummy low carb meals to prepare. Catch you all in a few weeks.
