Maybe only HCP's who are also diabetic should be allowed.As several posters have pointed out many of us are here because we are unable to trust the HCPs we have encountered because we have received poor advice and treatment or because he advice was not right for us as individuals.
I know that we already have HCP;s who are also diabetic posting here . It is often fairly obvious who they are. I don't want to hear the "received wisdom " of the NHS just regurgitated here ubnless there is some added value ie the HCP having some prersonal experience of the condition or at least, posting from the patient's point of view, Their input is then invaluable.
Perhaps there could be a particular section for HCP's who are bot diabetic but wish to offer some advice- those whio do not wan to sell something that is.
