It was the usual very quiet first half hour as the littlies were a bit shell shocked at being back (and probably shocked that they were out of bed and in Nursery by 8.30 ) - but by 9.30 they were all back into the swing of things!

I am a recent convert to red wine but didn’t have any last night... Better meal tonight with a glass of red so will see what happens in the morning! Thanks for the support!

Are you saying that red wine is good for diabetics? I do hope so. I have been missing it since January.

5.1 this morning. Fitbit stats show I upped my game last week (pity Spurs didn't do the same in clogland). Collected 16 eggs this morning - giant omlette needed - now getting psyched for swimming lesson. Need to be matching goonergal's numbers but I guess she would say it took my team 25 years so no hurry!

Well done you. For all those starting out on their journey with diabetes please take heart from this. Even those who are experienced in controlling this condition have blips. Treat them as stumbles not career ending injuries!
