Aww.....and I was about to ask what twice cooked pasta is lol....is that to get more starch out of it?Can safely say that, for me anyway , the twice cooked pasta didn't work , 9.2 shock horror !
From what I`ve read , the cooking, cooling , put in fridge and then reheat , does something to the structure of the pasta, making it more fibrous , don't quote me on this but am now delighted with the second testAww.....and I was about to ask what twice cooked pasta is lol....is that to get more starch out of it?
Ahhh yes...I think I recall someone telling me that pasta left in the fridge and re heated next day is less fattening and better for you...maybe thats why...woohoo thank you for reminding me...So pleased you can now have a small portion....maybe I will be able to as well...another food to be put to the testFrom what I`ve read , the cooking, cooling , put in fridge and then reheat , does something to the structure of the pasta, making it more fibrous , don't quote me on this but am now delighted with the second test
Phew ....at least mine look right lol....they are quite yummy too....(just had one as a snack)....as you say..not quite bread but they will come in handy to make a sandwich of sorts...I can always close my eyes and pretend it's 2 huge slices of Warburtons Thick ToastieMade some oopsies today too. They're not quite bread are they? It was great to be able to make a sandwich though, and will make them again. Quite fancy one with cream and berries, yum
