Hi all
Was wondering if anyone had tried or knew anyone who had tried the 'Xyla' diet? I'm T2D and managing it well by going low carb and exercising. My wife has been told she needs to lose weight for non diabetic reasons. Her GP has offered her Slimming World, Second Nature or Xyla. Leaving aside personal opinions around the efficacy of these programmes, does anyone know much about Xyla?
I dont know it at all, but their website trumpets their work in T2D prevention and remission. Seems to be entirely porridge, soup and shakes, so I'm guessing their success is purely based on weight loss rather than carb reduction. Does anyone know any more than that? Is there more to it?

It looks like the NHS 12 week shakes & soups programme, I’ve no real knowledge of it but you are most probably right it’s low calorie and will probably have a good few carbs but because it’s so low calorie the carbs will still be relatively lower compared to what the user could have been consuming prior to the programme.
