Feet numb at top

Hello, this is my first ever post. I wonder if anyone would be able to help me with a problem. I have type 2 diabetes and I've been given tablets to take for my feet. The feeling I have is either pins and needles feeling, burning, feel like they are wet and they feel like I'm standing on rocks or bones. The tablets I've been prescribed to take don't work. Has anyone experienced this type of feeling before?
