Should I be worried?

I had a heart attack a year ago and had angioplasty with one stent fitted

I have just been diagnosed as type 2 diabetic treatment diet no drugs

My hypertension is still being problamatic and my losartan has recently [ 1 month ago ] been increased to 100mgs form 75mgs. I also have bisoprolol 7.5mgs Atorvastatin 80mgs and asprin 75mgs

IMy GFR has decreased from 90 to 67 and creatinine has gone up to 84 [ upper limit of normal range ] Not had proteinurea test yet.

Should I be worried about this, it is long weekend christmas so can,t ask my GP or other proffesionals til after the Christmas break

Any advice would be welcome.
 
I've only just seen this and not being a doctor can't really answer. I know that my BP went up to 220/150 while visiting my mum in her care home (she just told me that my gran was at the end of the bed waiting to take her to heaven), the care staff noticed that I wasn't quite right took my BP and I was in the local hospital's A&E very quickly.
If your BP is troubling you then go to A&E, or call NHS Direct and see what they suggest.
If you're worried about your kidneys (GFR/Creatinine tests) the best person to talk to is a doctor.
A lot of GP practices are open tomorrow, I hope yours are. Could be NHS Direct is your best first step.Hope you sort it out.
 
Can't help with your symptoms as I have little medical knowledge but you can ring the 111 number for help. I had to ring them about my husband today. They actually got a doctor to ring us back and he came to visit. We still ended up in A&E but only because of my husband's complex health problems.

Thanks! John has several health problems and is in poor shape at the moment. Stress over his condition hinders my blood glucose control! We keep hoping he will improve but doctors are struggling to find ways to help at the moment. It's quite funny when they test his blood sugar regularly because some of his meds affect it. He gives good readings so at least part of him functions properly!
