Hi All,

Just ordered my next libre sensor by phone and the guy told me that we can now order up to 6 sensors per time. There's no price saving in the sensors themselves but you do only pay the one P&P.

Thought I'd pass it on as I didn;t know and if I'd ordered ove rthe internet, like I normally do, I wouldn't have known.

They must be cracking the whip at the factory!

Cheers

Matt

Hi Matt,

Fab news, every little helps :-)

Could you give the phone number you used please? I've been trying to order online for over a week now and the site just keeps taking me round in circles, and the only number I found was 'unrecognized'!

Cheers, Beccy

I've just placed an order online this morning but think I'd have still maybe only ordered 2. What's the 'use by' date on them now? I know in the past I've had sensors arrive with only a couple of months before they were out of date so ordering 6 would not been really viable.

I used 008000 - 2255 232 (with both leading 0's) it's the technical helpline but once they realise you're not calling about a faulty sensor they'll put you through.

I agree that 6 is a bit excessive, wishful thinking on their part maybe!?

There was a problem not long ago with people selling these on ebay for an inflated amount. People profiting from others needs isn't what should happen but that's the society we currently live in and morals are easily cast aside when these people see the chance to earn a few £££££ for doing nothing. Obviously this must be an attempted to stop this occurring. Not sure if it will or just make the problem even worse as the unscrupulous people now have a chance to buy and sell even more.

And they still are - sometimes at ridiculously high prices. :wideyed: I'm hoping now that they'll get their fingers burned and end up not being able to sell them.

Just managed to order 6 from the website too. I'm currently using them all the time so as long as they have at least 3 months on them that will be ok. If they don't then I will ring Abbott to complain, as it would be impossible to use them quicker!
