Bullies, discrimination of any kind, bad manners, parents who let their kids run amok & spoil things for everyone else, unkind spiteful people, being a clumsy clod, toast crumbs in the bed, cold feet!!
Hi folks. I'm experiencing pain in my feet. Primarily, it's a stabbing pain on the underside pad of my right foot. It's not all of the time, & is pretty transient. My toes on both feet feel as though they're burning sometimes. None of the described pain is there permanently, but when it is, it can be distressing. I do look after my feet, & follow good foot hygiene, properly fitted shoes etc, so it's not a care issue. Does anyone else experience this type of pain/discomfort. Advice would be much appreciated.

Last HbA1c was November, & it was 31.

Sounds like neuropathy of the feet Alisonjane10, i had it when first diagnosedt2, only got better after my weight and bs's stabilized around 5.5 mmols without any spikes over 6.8 at any time.
Hope you get into a good place with your bs soon ,know you have and are working so hard on your bs's
The thing that really helped me was...portion control.

Hi @Clivethedrive. Thanks for your reply. I suspected it was neuropathy, but hoped it wasn't. My BG was very high for a while due to pneumonia. Up into the high teens. So, I think that's definitely contributed to the foot problems. Looks like I'm gonna have to be very strict with my diet again, & make sure I don't spike more than 2.0 mmols after eating. Out goes the wee treats. I've never experienced pain like it to be honest. It was quite a shock. Here's hoping it improves.
