i'll start :

I used to be a member of another (non diabetic) but quite proper :p forum which unfortunately had a rather over-zealous naughty word filter built into its software which was expert at finding offence in and censoring not only quite innocent words but sought out apparently sinful sequences of letters embedded in them too, so we could never post that we owned a cute little ***** cat, kept peacocks in the grounds of our stately home, or lived in such dreadful places as Scunthorpe, for example...:wideyed:

We've kinda lost the alphabet thing a bit. I'm going to make two suggestions: a) post without following the alphabet, b) get the Mods to allow anonymous posts, for the shy ones amongst you! :bag:
 
This is in Friesland, in the Netherlands. Bier means beer in Dutch. The poor village uses special screws for the plates so they'll only get stolen some of the time.
