2015/16 Football Season

Man Utd won 3-0 surprise surprise :(

Not really a nice place to visit, especially on a Tuesday night!

Carlisle lost by the odd goal and the Terriers drew!

Rovers are now out of play off positions, so not really a good night all round, though I think Johnboy, maybe happier than the rest of us!
 
Well we managed a draw which was very good as they scored first and we had a man sent off after 49 mins and managed to hold it together and scramble a late goal to take a point back up the M1. Im chuffed at that. Especially as Leeds could only draw and therefore we are still that 1 point above them. :D Can we get something from the home tie with Ipswich on Saturday i ask myself. Well seeing as we took all 3 points from Notts Forest and Wolves then yes we can. UTT
 
Had our keeper sent off so down to 10 men

Here we are again, the weekend fixtures.
Rovers have something of a derby game on Sunday against Chester at the Deva Stadium as was, now Vauxhall something else ground.
We sold out our 1100 ticket allocation within hours and could have sold at least another two thousand. We have not played them for a long long time at their place. It's going to be fun. We won the home fixture earlier in the season.
Hope the results go for us.

This is the most important game anywhere this weekend.
I believe that there might be something going on at Wemberley on Sunday. Also a big premiership game, not bothered don't care!

C'mon Rovers!

Just thought gonna have to miss my youth game because of the derby.
Funny thing is, the team will have four of eighteen players missing.
One is suspended and going to Chester. Three are just going to Chester.
No one else is missing because of the cup final.
That's really amazing around my area.
Good job the blues aren't playing Sunday as we wouldn't have a team!

And guess what, we're playing the league leaders and champions from last season!

Oh dear we could not do anything right today and we even had a man taken off injured and he couldnt be replaced cos we'd already used all 3 subs how unlucky can you get :( Oh well onwards and upwards we cant dwell too long on a bad result.

Well done to Carlisle pulled 2 back to win :)

What about Chelsea pulled 2 back to win 1-2.
Leicester scrambled a late win.
 
Saints lost to Chelski, 2-1. Saints led until after 1/2 time (Shane Long. Again. :)) then it was 1-1 until the 88th minute, when Ivanovic scored. A classic Saints last minute throwaway :(

On the plus side, Fraser Forster now holds the record for the Saints goalie to have lasted the longest without conceding a goal....

Noshers Tranmere are drawing 0-0 with Chester as we speak.

Big Match at 4:30pm Liverpool v Man City league cup final. Id like Liverpool to win that one

Sorry John, but the big game today has to be the derby game between Chester and Rovers. You just can't get bigger! Never mind that Mickey Mouse cup thing!
A good win today by a penalty to nil, which I will take all day! We should have three penos, and I'm being reserved, they had three goalies, one in green, two in blue!!
The peno we did get was probably the hardest to give!!!
Puts us back in to fourth place.
Great win for Carlisle, unlucky Terriers and saints!
Arsenal have blown it now! Spurs are the only problem for the foxes!

My lads got beat 5-0 against the champions and league leaders. Played well for first half, then collapsed, unfortunately I was at Chester!

I do think the top flight of football is killing kids footie because of all the games on a Sunday!
 
I disagree i dont think Arsenal have blown it yet Man City have blown it theres no question of that. Obviously id like Leicester or Spurs to win the title now but you never know its a funny old game as Jimmy Greaves once said
